About CitycocoThe original concept of an urban electric scooter (e-scooter Citycoco) on awkward thick wheels appeared in Germany, where in Dresden in 2011 Scrooser GmbH & Co.KG launched a small-scale production of the Scrooser device of the same name. The self-propelled vehicle was unlike any device that existed at the time of its debut. It was not immediately clear how to classify this thing: an electric scooter, a scooter with a seat, or a new type of chopper bike. The technical characteristics of the German Scrooser and the level of engineering correspond to the futuristic design of the device. However, the German Scrooser was not destined to become particularly popular - largely because of the very high price. In Europe, the model is estimated at a significant €4500-5000. But the very concept of the Scrooser hybrid appealed to many - including enterprising Chinese factories that can copy any object in this universe. Today, several factories in China produce electric scooters of the Citycoco-style and design, but you need to understand that, like everything else, there are products of high and low quality. |

It is story about my trip from Escazu to San Isidro del General through Jaco and Quepos on an electric scooter with daughter.
It's not like riding an electric Harley with Obi-Wan Kenobi leading the way from the Fiery Land of Argentina to Los Angeles(cool movie and the idea of "The Long Way Up")... But conquered two awesome mountain passes on the way was interesting!
In two days (stayed and charged overnight in Jaco), we crossed picturesque stretches of mountain roads, rode along the Pacific Ocean coast. It was very comfortable with 4 batteries. Towards the end of second day, it was tough for both me and the scooter due to the long ascent from Dominical to San Isidro...
But experience is priceless!
